Hello, and welcome to Morningside Elementary! My name is Akiyah Douglas, and I am thrilled to be your child’s third-grade teacher this year. With both a Bachelor's and Master’s degree from Fort Valley State University, and currently pursuing a Specialist in Elementary Education at Georgia Southwestern State University, my commitment to education runs deep. My journey has been fueled by a genuine passion for teaching and a dedication to helping each student discover their unique potential.
