I started teaching career in Houston County in 2005. I was a classroom teacher for 6 years. I taught 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and Kindergarten at Shirley Hills Elementary before becoming the media specialist at Morningside. I love working with children and showing them the excitment that can be found inside of a book.

I attended Georgia College and State University where I got both my teaching degree and my master's degree in Instructional Technology: Library Media. 

When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, baking, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!
