Hi! I'm Ms. Catherine Johnson, born and raised in Perry, Ga. Being a native of the Houston County School District, I graduated from Veterans High School in 2017. From there, I attended and graduated from THE Fort Valley State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. I completed all of my student teaching here in Houston County and started my teaching career here at Morningside Elementary in 2022! I am excited to work with your child to explore and discover the world of learning.

During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I am the daughter and granddaughter of educators so, the love of learning runs well in my veins. 

My motto is that "If a child can't learn the way you teach, teach them the way that they can learn." It truly takes a village to raise a child, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be one of the stops on your child's path of learning!
