My name is Erika Boone. I grew up in Macon, GA.  I graduated from Mercer University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  Later, I received my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University as well as my Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University.  This is my seventh year teaching Kindergarten with 10 previous years at Morningside teaching second, fifth, and first grades.  I have two children ages 15 and 10.  On the weekends you will find me weight lifting, eating Mexican food, swimming, or watching Food Network.  Teaching Kindergarten is my passion.  Our classroom is an environment built on positivity and safety.  Ms. Barner and I are excited about the year ahead!
