Hi Panthers! My name is Lisa Bright, and I am a reading and math teacher for K-2 here at Morningside. I am very passionate about what I do and want to make your child feel special while they are at school. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education at Georgia College and State University, my Masters in Reading at Walden University, and my Doctorate of Education in Teacher Leadership at Walden. This will be my 20th year in education. I previously taught first and fourth grades before becoming a K-2 teacher. 

I am married and have three children of my own. My hobbies include reading, kayaking, and sewing.
