Bio
I have been teaching since 2013. This is my 4th year at Morningside Elementary. Prior to teaching at Morningside, I taught at Centerville Elementary and Elam Alexander Academy at the Elberta Center. I have served in several schools throughout the county as a substitute teacher or a parent volunteer. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army. My educational background includes a Masters Degree in Elementary Education (2012), a Bachelors in Public Service-Human Service (2005), and an Associates Degree in Social Welfare (2003). I enjoy working with children. I encourage my students to do their best daily. My goal is to teach students to try new things before saying they cannot do something. I want my students to have self-confidence to help them with task completion, no matter how challenging it may seem. I remind my students that their daily goal is to do better each time. I look forward to serving the children and families in my school each year.
