As a former army brat who graduated high school in Germany. I returned to the states with my mother and sister to attend Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia  where I worked very hard to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Education. A few years later, I decided to pursue another degree and I attended Walden University where I earned a Masters of Science degree in Reading and Literacy. I have been successfully teaching elementary school for 22 years in grades ranging from Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade.

With strong family roots in Houston County, my family and I returned to the county, where I am currently teaching and entering my seventh year as an educator at Morningside Elementary School.
